Webkinz World

The Halloween and Christmas holiday Webkinz for this year will NOT be the Webkinz Reindeer and Webkinz Black Cat. It is confirmed that there will be new seasonal Webkinz released.

• The Halloween 2008 Webkinz will be the Webkinz Bat!
• The Christmas 2008 Webkinz will not be the Webkinz Reindeer again. It will be a Webkinz Snowman!
• Finally, the Valetine's Day 2009 Webkinz will be a Valentine's Monkey!

What does this mean? Well, it looks like Ganz may be leaning towards retiring the Webkinz Reindeer and Webkinz Black Cat in favor of releasing new seasonal Webkinz.

Ganz has added a new room theme to the W-Shop in Webkinz World. The Pretty in Pink room theme is on sale now, but according to Ganz only part of the theme has been released. No one is sure if the additional items will be released in the W-Shop, or Arte's Curio Shop so keep an eye on both.

Ganz has confirmed that their will be new additions to the Kinz Style shop in Webkinz World. The shipping date for the new clothing items is April.

The Wheel of Wishes event is now live in Webkinz World. You can spin the Wheel of Wishes anytime during Saturday and Sunday (you get a chance to spin it each day). There are some standard prizes on the Wheel of Wishes, but you also have the opportunity to win Wish Tokens for use in the new Wish Factory. I spun it today and hit the Random Kinz Cash prize for 277 Kinz Cash. Not bad in my opinion.

Don't forget that if you adopted the March Pet of the Month Lil' Kinz Pig you get an extra spin on Sunday.

New retirements have taken place in Webkinz World. If you browse the catalog in Webkinz World you will notice that 4 Webkinz now have the "retired" icon over their pictures. If you head on over to the Lil' Kinz catalog you will see that 2 of them are now retired.

One of the newest Webkinz, the Webkinz Brown Dog, has been activated in Webkinz World. Congratulations to this lucky person.

The Webkinz Brown Dog's Pet Specific Item is the Patchwork Sofa (seen in the picture below). It's Pet Specific Food is Savory Sweet Meat Treats.
